Cynthia's Thoughts
January 27, 2019, 12:00 AM

I decided to cook one day this week.  It took my neighbor approximately 30 seconds to come across the street for the goodies.  It made me think about my kitchen in Massachusetts.  Sharon was so interested in cooking she prepared the dinners for the family from the time she was 9 years old.  I bought a cook book with pictures showing the recipe.  My husband at the time was so upset with me, because I spent $25 on a recipe book.  However, he raved about that dinner and other dinners as well.  He did apologize.  I miss having my daughters in the kitchen with me.  Both daughters are great cooks and it was the only time my girls did not fight.  That was a breath of fresh air!  My girl scout troop came to our kitchen so they could get their cooking badge.  Their parents thought I was crazy having 25 girls baking in our kitchen until they tasted all the goodies.  The parents were amazed at what their girls accomplished.  A fun time was had by all.  I would do that again in a heartbeat.  Only one egg broke.  God Bless!
